Ante-bellum ledger reused as scrapbook by Rosalie L. Grymes [manuscript], 1854-1856, 1880, 1916-1933.

Ledger, 1854-1856, of an unidentified [Clarke County, Va.?] merchant was reused, 1879-1880, to copy songs, and reused again, 1916-1932, as a scrapbook for clippings and invitations. Clippings pertain to the Byrd family, Woodrow Wilson, George Washington and local events and families as well as sentimental paintings and poetry. It includes a newspaper photograph of Edith Bolling Wilson autographed by her to a Mrs. Jaffnay.
